The Dallas Agreement was an agreement between the governments of the Confederate States of America, and the New American Union, defining their proposed spheres of influence and control in the Southern States.
The agreement effectively divided the Southern States of the former United States into areas of future Confederate and New American control or influence.
Terms[]
- The territorial integrity and sovereignity of the Confederate States of America shall be recognized and respected by the New American Union, and the NAU shall renounce claims to all areas controlled by the Confederacy during the signing of the Treaty.
- The territorial integrity and sovereignity of the New American Union shall be recognized and respected by the Confederate States of America, and the CSA shall renounce claims to all areas controlled by the Union during the signing of the Treaty.
- The former U.S. state of Mississippi and the former U.S state of Louisiana shall be recognized as an area of Confederate interest and influence, and the New American Union shall renounce all claims to Mississippi and Louisiana. It shall also refrain from attempting to influence the state whether directly or indirectly through proxy groups. It shall be accepted by the participants of this Treaty that the states of Mississippi and Louisiana would be recognized as within sphere of the Confederate States of America, who may annex the states if they will so. Henceforth, the New American Union shall renounce all claims to Mississippi and Louisiana.
- The former U.S. state of Arkansas shall be recognized as an area of Union interest and influence, and the Confederate States of America shall renounce all claims to Arkansas. It shall also refrain from attempting to influence the state whether directly or indirectly through proxy groups. It shall be accepted by the participants of this Treaty that the state of Arkansas would be recognized as within sphere of the New American Union, who may annex the state if they will so. Henceforth, the Confederate States of America shall renounce all claims to Arkansas.
- The Confederate States of America and the New American Union shall agree to sign a Non-Aggression Pact, with an expiry date of 2075.
- The Confederate States of America and the New American Union shall sign an alliance, agreeing to aid one another during times of crisis and to cooperate with one another to promote trade, friendship and peace.
