Major Events
The War of Soviet unification started in Norther Kazachstan in 1921.6 and ended with th invasoin of Polish heald west Byelorussia, starting in 1936.6. The USSR forms the International Comintern and asks Germany and Poland to join the communist defense, trade and international legal co-operation body in 1928.6. Mongolia quickly joins it. Germany accept the offer in 1931.6.
Political alliance is signed with Japan in 1924, Poland in 1925, Lithuania in 1931 and Germany in 1931.6.
White Sea – Baltic Canal project was built between 1931.6 and 1933.6.
The major industrial city of Magnetagorsk was founded in 1933.6
The 1936.6-1938 war with Poland captured most of Polish held west a Byelorussia, but at the cost of 15,000 martyred Soviet troopers and 500 martyred Soviet civilians. Poland and Germany also suffered heavy losses. Lithuania made modest gains and suffered only moderately.
The railways were upgraded between 1936 and 1945.
1938.5 saw the Treaty of Kiev signed.
South Turkestan was vasselated in 1941 and annexed in 1942.
1975- The economy begins to decline sharply due to OTL/ATL corruption. Industrial output declines and Chechen rebels are fought with in Grozny. 1,000 Soviet parra-toopers topple the Slovakian government and put communist hardliner we like in Slovakia.
1976-1976.5 Caucus Mountain rebels are fought with in Dagestan, Chechnya, Ossetia and Ingushetia. A few more democratic reforms are introduced. Germany helps us fight the rebels in 1976.5. The war died down to a few terrorists in 1977.5
